20 Questions: Lightning Fast Answers to Your Breakup Questions
Today, we’ll answer a whole bunch of your questions in this video…
But to keep things interesting, I’m going to try to answer all of them as quickly as I can, in just a few words…
Obviously, that means I’ll be skipping out on a lot of important stuff in some of these answers, so for more comprehensive how-to advice please visit the Ex Factor Guide.
These questions I’m about to read were compiled over the past few weeks from your comments, emails and Facebook messages…
I won’t reveal any names, I’ll just try to give the best possible answer in one sentence or less.
Let’s get started.
How many people make big mistakes after a breakup and does it usually ruin their chance of getting their ex back?
Almost everyone makes at least some mistakes before they find my videos or my website, but usually, their situation is still salvageable.
Why do other people say the No Contact Strategy is a bad idea?
Because they want to be controversial to generate views and sell something and because they know it appeals to many people even though it’s completely wrong.
Why are you always talking about the No Contact Strategy?
Because it is a critical component of my 3R system and because it is necessary in most cases if you want to win back your ex.
How do I know if I should actually get back together with my ex?
That’s up to you to decide but generally, if you want your ex back — you miss that specific person, rather than missing just the feeling of being with someone and not being alone — then that’s a strong indicator.
How often do your clients actually get back together with their ex?
Daily.
Not everyone gets their ex back, for a variety of reasons, but many do and I see it pretty much every single day.
What’s the biggest mistake people make trying to get their ex back?
They think that they can talk their way back into their ex’s heart and fail to re-build their ex’s attraction in a natural, organic way.
Is it ever a good idea to contact my ex during the No Contact phase?
Only in the event of a major crisis like your ex’s family member has passed away or they were accepted into NASA’s astronaut program and it’s usually OK to send a brief happy birthday text as well.
What if I live with my ex or have to see them daily?
I have other videos on this and it’s covered extensively in my Ex Factor program but basically, you need to stay positive, put on a happy face and avoid any drama.
Does being in a long-distance relationship reduce the chances of getting my ex back?
Yes.
How much it complicates things depends on the specific details of the situation, so I encourage people in that scenario to sign up for my 1-on-1 coaching to get more personalized guidance.
How did you become a breakup expert?
I’m a psychology geek and have been a relationship coach for many years, basically since graduating from university…
Eventually, I had the experience and knowledge to create my Ex Factor program, which is now in its 5th edition.
Is getting an ex back different for men and women?
The fundamentals are the same but the strategies used often vary between genders because male and female psychology can be quite different.
Do you ever encourage people to move on and not try to get their ex back?
Oh yeah, definitely.
Generally, it’s when they’ve treated like garbage by their ex.
Why do you talk about texting so much?
Well, it’s because texts (and similar messaging platforms like Facebook or WhatsApp) offer a non-threatening, non-invasive way to convey messages to your ex, which is especially helpful in the early stages of rebuilding the relationship.
Do your strategies and advice apply for same-sex couples?
Yes, almost everything I teach will work for same-sex couples…
I’ve coached many gay and lesbian clients and 99% of the techniques I recommend will work just as well.
Should I delete my ex from social media channels like Facebook and Instagram?
No. I actually wrote a related article about that, check it out here — Should You Unfriend Your Ex from Facebook? (If You Want Them Back).
Also, there’s no reason to do that, you can just hide their posts from showing in your newsfeed.
Why do you do this breakup coaching stuff?
Because I get to earn a living helping people go through one of the toughest times in their life… it’s rewarding, for the most part it’s enjoyable and I can work from home.
I also get to meet and talk to some really cool people from all over the world through my 1-on-1 coaching.
What’s the most common question you’re asked?
Probably “do I still have a chance?”
Alright, I am going to end it here guys…
