To a lot of men, they think that being the guy who gets a ton of dates is a great big mystery they can’t hope to crack.
Well, the truth is that there’s nothing mysterious about getting women to like you. To reach the ideal state where being attractive is effortless, you need to put in amount of effort over a period of time.
However, this doesn’t mean it’s hard. Once you know which areas to focus on, it’s just a matter of consistently cultivating habits based on the following:
#1: Be An Awesome Friend
What does this have to do with dating women? It’s actually an important part of being attractive because the way you treat other people – especially your buddies – is a good indication of who you are as a person.
If you’re the kind of guy who doesn’t respect his friends or suddenly blows them off for a hot date, then you need to change this habit before you create a bad impression.
Women are actually more comfortable with guys who don’t make them the center of their universe and become dead to everyone else when they start dating. They’d rather go out with someone that has solid network of friends that he speaks highly of – this is positive sign that he has a healthy social life going on.
#2: Be A Geek
I’m not asking you to dress like one of the guys from the TV show “Big Bang Theory”, but rather emulate the qualities that make them attractive.
Geeks are essentially people who have an impressive body of knowledge on a given subject, and this makes them interesting to women.
Here’s a basic truth: when you always have something interesting to say, that in turn makes YOU interesting as well.
And it’s easy – just figure out what you’re ALREADY into and learn more about it. The internet is your friend, so find every available resource out there to help enrich your knowledge on the stuff you’re into.
Trust me – being a sort of “authority” on obscure topics is attractive, provided you’re genuinely into them. It could by anything from brewing your own beer (and knowing the difference between the different types) to the implied social themes in your favorite graphic novels, or being able to tell if someone’s lying.
The magic of this is that knowing these things comes natural to you, so you’re not “putting on a personality” just to impress women. And the side effect of this is that you’ll naturally attract like-minded women who share the same interests as you.
#3: Don’t Be A Zombie
You know what’s a drag? It’s when you’re having fun and have this crazy amount of energy going around when someone comes up to you and brings you down with their bad vibe.
Don’t be a buzzkill around women – you need to demonstrate a high amount of enthusiasm because a positive attitude is contagious. When you give off a certain vibe, other people will tend to mirror that.
So get off your butt and get out there. Take vitamin supplements, do cardio a few times a week and don’t embrace a sedentary lifestyle.
It’s not about being one of those overzealous fitness nuts or acting like you’re on a caffeine rush all the time. You just have to get into the habit of being out there and staying active.
It not only makes you more attractive to women, but a more likeable, well-balanced guy who gets along with a wide range of folks.
#4: Be Masculine In Small Doses
What does being masculine mean anyway? Is it working out and bulking up to Schwarzenegger-like proportions?
Is it acting like your favorite action heroes like John McClane from Die Hard or Tony Stark from Iron Man? Is it about crushing beer cans on your forehead and pounding your chest for all to see?
Being all these might seem cool on the surface, but what lies at the core of masculinity are qualities like leadership, a solid sense of direction and decisiveness.
The good news is that you don’t have to be in the military or a politician to demonstrate these qualities. You can give her subtle hints of your alpha male personality in your own way in everyday situations, such as taking the initiative to make plans and having a definite agenda when going out.
When you’re having a difference of opinion with your girl, you don’t just sheepishly agree in order to appease her. Rather, you stand by your beliefs and reconsider your views only if your truly believe that she makes a valid point. Otherwise, you have the spine to agree to disagree because that’s the kind of attitude that earns her respect.
Above all, you should be the guy who looks after her well-being by taking the lead when needed. Women love the feeling that their guy is protecting them from the big, bad world – even if they’re perfectly capable to taking care of themselves.
In the end, being attractive doesn’t involve transforming yourself into some other person just to impress women. All you’re doing is building on what’s already inside you to begin with – it doesn’t get any simpler that that.
